GLF10 pt. 5
So, some dear friends (Hadi, Nat, Pamela) and I went to visit our friend Gretchen last weekend (April 19-22) in Tennessee. It was one of those magical weekends where it feels like you can wrap your arms around the world and hold it close forever. We spent half our time running around Franklin, learning all kinds of things about the South and the Civil War, and the other half hanging out at Gretchen's, playing games, laughing, and sharing meals. It was dreamy. Here's the view from the CSA lookout in Franklin, Tennessee, taken on our last night in town.

people unmoving
The view from the People Mover platform on my lunch break; Cadillac Square station, facing the Gratiot/Woodward intersection. The building on the left, toward the front, is the Compuware building. Everything was so quiet today.

3.2 megapixels of nick
My last BlackBerry was attacked by a ginger beer, and rather than being dishonest and trading it in as defective, I upgraded! To help me test the new camera, here's my favorite model, my muse, my dear friend: Nick!
pooch parade
Went to the dog show today, and as we were crossing the arena, the longhaired dachshunds were lining up for their chance to shine. What a bunch of cuties!
